LABOUR ROOM & GYNAECOLOGY
In our labour department, we have special care areas for pre delivery and post delivery patients separately. The labour room is equipped with modern equipments to handle high risk cases. The Surgery unit is ready round the clock for handling obstetrical emergencies.
Pain less labour facilities are also implemented to make our labour department a complete well ness clinic for the pregnant women.
ADULT INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
Our Intensive care unit has all sophisticated amenities to handle Medical / Surgical emergencies. The Intensive care unit is equipped with equipments like Cardiac Monitors, Pulse-Oxy Meters, Central Oxygen System, Ventillator, Defibrillator etc. Expert and Skilled nurses are employed for the care of patients.
PAEDIATRIC INTENSIVE CARE UNIT Children who need immediate and emergency medical care are admitted to our paediatric ICU. Availability of Doctors and nurses for handling emergencies is ensured.
NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
New born babies who need assistance for initial survival are taken care of in our Neonatal ICU. The department is equipped with state of the art sophisticated equipments to help the new born and infants to kick back into life. Radiant Warmers, Incubators, Photo Therapy and neonatal ventilators are some of the equipments in the facility.
VIDEO LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY UNIT
Less invasive and aesthetic surgery are becoming the mainstream of every modern medical practice now a days. Crescent Hospital has also procured a good Videographic Laparoscopic Surgery system. HD Camera and Telescopes and modern equipments have made laparoscopic surgery more easier and convenient for the surgeons. General Surgery and Gynaecologic procedures are the currently available facilities under this department. In future, urologic, bariatric and vascular procedures will be introduced.
PSYCHIATRIC AND GERIATRIC REHABILITATION UNIT
Care of Mentally deranged persons in the society is becoming more and more scientific and established. A good Mental Rehabilitation facility is an always sought after asylum for these patients. In this regard, Crescent Psychiatric Rehabilitation is a pioneer and unique of its kind in the district in private sector. Currently we have inpatient capacity for 50 patients in this department.
Geriatric care for older persons is the arena where nursing care takes its angelic form to give happiness and peace to needy people in their old age. Nuclear families has necessitated the role of this department in our society. Rather than a dumping facility for non-caringoffsprings, Crescent Geriatric Care Centre believes in taking care of those who need medical care and a second home for people in their retired life. The mental and physical wellbeing of the inmates in our department will vouch for this and makes our department favourite for those in need of this facility. Currently we have capacity to accommodate 50 inmates to this department.
COUNSELLING CENTRE
Counselling services for persons who are in need is available at Crescent Hospital. School programs are conducted to detect abnormalities which need early intervention. Student Counselling, Family Counselling, Pre-marital counselling, Lifestyle/ health Counselling are some of the services available.
OPERATION THEATRES
Two major and two minor theatres are fully functional and ready for 24 hours to cater to the medical emergencies arising insidethe Hospital as well as outside. Road traffic victims are given immediate and expert medical care. Availability of Anaesthetist and Surgeons round the clock enables us to deliver surgeries at the right time without delay.
Whole Body CT Scan Centre
Wipro GE Hispeed sub second slice Hispeed CT Scanner outputs crystal clear 2D and 3D images which helps in quick, accurate and efficient diagnosis of diseases and trauma points.
DEPARTMENT OF RADIOLOGY & ULTRASOUND SCAN.
The 300mA X Ray is functioning 24 Hours.
Ultrasound Scanning is done on all days from 10 AM to 5 PM. By dr. Sushama. Dr. Mario Jose Rodriguez does scanning in the evenings with prior appointments.
DIALYSIS CENTRE
Crescent Dialysis Centre currently has 3 Machines for performing Haemodialysis. We have facility for performing 100 dialysis per month. Addition of machines in near future will increase the capacity and enable us as beneficiary under Karunya Benevolent Fund Scheme of Kerala Govt. Dialysis is currently done on competitive rates.
IMMUNIZATION SERVICES
Free Immunization is given in accordance with Government Health Service Scheme.
INPATIENT SERVICES
Crescent Hospital provides secondary care for all medical and surgical specialities. We have facility to accommodate around 300 pateints.
General wards, Semi private rooms, private rooms, Deluxe room facilities are available to cater to various call of patients. The rates for accommodation and treatment are kept affordable to the common public.
COMPUTERISED FULLY AUTOMATIC CLINICAL LABORATORY
Crescent Hospital houses one of the best clinical laboratory in the district. Fully automatic biothemistry analyser, HematologyAnalyzer, Eliza Reader, Electrolyte analyser, Blood gas analyser etc are some of the equipments available in our facility. Microbiology tests are also done. Strict Quality control measures are implemented to ensure good and error free results.
AMBULANCE SERVICES
Two ambulance are available to transport patients to higher centres who need teritiary care.
MORTUARY SERVICES
Mortuary Freezer is available for storing dead bodies.
